    Outstanding Young Alumni Nomination Form

    The Recognition Committee will review each nomination and make recommendations to the Alumni Council for final approval. Awards are presented at a ceremony held during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.


    The nominator may be contacted by the Recognition Committee for additional information. Nominations must be received by December 31 to be honored in the following year, and will be considered for up to three years. The nomination will then be dropped, unless renewed by the nominator or a member of the Recognition Committee.
     



    General Criteria
    1. A recipient must be an alum of Earlham College and have attended at least one full term or semester.
    2. The alum must be 35 or under.
    3. A group of alumni who are all 35 or under may be nominated.
    4. The recipient(s) should reflect honor on Earlham through their achievements. These achievements should be complemented by a continuing commitment to Earlham College and its ideals. The activities or distinctions attained by the recipient may be in non-traditional areas.
    5. The recipient(s) cannot be a voting member of the Alumni Council or Board of Trustees, the current past chair of the Council or Board, an alum who has received honorary degrees from the College, or a current member of the Earlham faculty or staff.
    6. The recipient must appear on campus to receive the award. If appropriate, the recipient(s) may be invited to participate in campus activities, such as lectures, convocations, and workshops. If a group is nominated, one person from the group must be present to accept the award.
